The Summer Holiday season is finally here. School’s will soon be breaking up and I know a lot of you are planning on jetting away for some family fun in the sun.
We are also starting to think about our holiday plans as we really could do with a break. Our first holiday as a family was to Norfolk in 2013. Archie was about five months old and so we found a lovely little cottage just outside of Hunstanton. We had a lovely time exploring the local area, a Deer Farm and plenty of trips to the seaside.
Last year we had our first stay at a Center Parcs. We stayed at Elveden Forest and we really enjoyed it, so much so that we are thinking of going again but this time down to Longleat in Wiltshire.
Travelling with a growing family isn’t always easy, it can be a logistical nightmare! I was surprised at how much we had to take with us last year and the car was jammed full with suitcases, car seats, high chairs, toys and so this time around it will be even harder as we have little Freddie with us. I may need to invest in a roof rack at this rate.
Whatever your plans we hope you all have a lovely time. It would be great to hear your plans, stories and to see your holiday snaps so please do get in touch. You can comment on this blog post right here on our website or via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
